my hit chart analysis for september 2011

It's all about how to be cooler than cool. I remember I have to keep sentimental songs and EMO music before but this time we have more dance than ever. I can't predict the tracks and trends to come. The fact is, it is really hard this days to have final say as to what type of music will hit our waves next.

And why make analysis for September?

I just hope there is enough reasons. I feel like too many musicians love to include the name September in their songs. Probably because of the kind of weather we have during September. As we listen to the lyrics of the song by Earth Wind and Fire, I believe September is the cradle of nostalgia. They want to remember how they were dancing in September. Another song by Chris Daughtry which is also entitled as September. There's a lot of songs that carries September in them. last one for example, [hope this is last] Wake Me Up When September Ends by Greenday.

So this September I decided to give some tribute to the songs which made it to the top of the charts here and abroad. Let me begin with Adele. This year is her year. It is the year when Adele is really shining. Like a metamorphosis from her cocoon, Adele brought us songs which are easy to understand yet classy in all senses. We had Rollin in the Deep following her long forgotten Chasing Pavements. This song, garnered thousands of like in youtube and facebook as well as remakes and covers from all aspiring artists and wannabe sensations. There is a cover from Mike Posner, John Legend and would you believe, Linkin Park?

A lot of girls making their ways to top. Next to Adele is the newly transformed music of Demi Lovato. She sounded more mature in her latest videos "Sky Scrapper" and "Who's That Boy" featuring DEV. What mor ecan I say for the AI finalist who made it to Interscope. I'm speaking of her sexiness Pia Toscano who really looks like a Latina beauty queen and her back is awesome too. But remember we are talking about music and her voice is just as sexy as her body. Her single "This Time"; captured the hearts of young lovers all over the world.

Nicki Minaj, with her unique soft kind of rapping, is already the carrier of modern hiphop RNB. She remained undisputed with Super Bass but now kinda replacing it with "Where Dem Gurls At" which is a collaboration with David Guetta. In case we forget, we have Pitbull for this year, making a lot of collaborations. And now, the latest with Timbaland, the sexy video of Pass At Me. Bruno Mars also did a collaboration with Bad Meets Evil and Slim Shady. Another one with Slim and BME is Fast Lane. But seeing that the voice of Bruno Mars is very much suited to that kind of rap, other artists who can't afford the time of Bruno Mars resorted to Adam Lavigne. I feel some kind of competition as to how they do the choruses of the songs. The first one to be released was Move Like Jagger but it was followed by Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Heart" which featured the captivating voice of Lavigne as replacement to the voice of BRuno that we loved.

Still we are waiting more from Katy Perry and Rihanna who just released her Cheers to That. And Season 3 of Glee already started. I bet a lot of their covers will be in iTunes very soon.

on why flashing one's rear is next greatest business

I can't believe i am writing about beauty pageants. But the fact is... all the world locked on monitors to watch and tweet about the Miss Universe thing. Admit it, Miss U is the next big thing for September after commemorating the Twin Tower bombing last Sunday. Somehow, it is nice to forget that tragic remembrance and focus on something that is alluring and ethereal.

As we all know, Trish is the girl who's making me alive right now and she is a certified fashionista just as Lauren Uy is one. So that's it, I have to stay abreast with those stuff. Plus, being a director myself I have to know more about staging because Miss U and all other pageants are simply... production [now, we're gradually entering business topic and I hate it. I consider myself a metro-sexual. A straight guy [things we need to clarify for the girls] ,yes straight but very meticulous and and considerate of the feminine mindset. I take a bath two times a day [ok, ok, three times]. I am learning how to cook under my Mom's guidance. But still, its awkward to do write ups about analyzing what happened in the Miss U pageant.

So I decided to talk about their voluptuousity. Gosh! I still can't. i always feel that writing about women's body will endanger my future. But honestly, people love to talk about it. And who knows, maybe people also love to read about it and blog about it. Too much has been said and written about the process of elimination and choosing a crowned beauty queen so let's not deal with that.

As of now, I want to talk about something that arrested the attention of almost 200 million people around the globe who are keeping their eyes close to every details of the pageant. And so, the swimwear portion happened. We all know about this. It is the time when all the top 16 contestant will ramp on stage like models wearing their ,of course, swimwear. First one to walk before us is Miss France. And just a minute after her ramp, a lot of men twitted about her body particularly those two cheeks behind her which is described in twitter as ...huge.

Needless to say, the world loves to look at it. Today's people is conscious of how their back looks like especially when one will appear in camera. Some directors are very delicate when shooting an artist if that actress doesn't have a good body, they fake the shot. You know what I mean. Girls want their lower back to appear extremely lovely and large.

This scenario brought me back to April's royal wedding. When the world forgot about the prince and the new princess at Piffa Middleton, the sister of Princess Catherine showed how voluptuous her body is. She wore a fit white long gown which enabled us too stare at that huge rounds of flesh that she use when she sits and shit.

Why all this fascination about rear skin?

The answer to that would need a lot of research, culturally wise and psychologically wise. For most of Arab Mediterranean and Cypriot countries their culture includes hitting women from behind. Men in there love to enter the forbidden door. And most of the westerners use the name of that hole to mean for something annoying and worthy of hate. Like when they see a person that is stupid, they call him an A**h*** or simply an A**. It is like saying that twice in every minute.

So, just right after the wedding. Piffa received a lot [as in a lot] of offers. One of the most reported breakouts was that Vivid Entertainment founder/co-chairman Steven Hirsch sent a letter to the younger sister of Kate Middleton, offering her $5 million for "just one explicit scene". Actually, they wanted her to do an adult film simply because her back became an obsession. And following the expose of her dancing photos.

Now, how much are we willing to pay to see our favorite artists wearing thongs or probably stripping all off? This question is just so timely now that showing one's behind in our local movies is becoming ubiquitous. Last time we check, it was the movie "My Neighbors Wife" which had Jake Cuenca baring it all except for the front. Then showing next week is "No Other Woman" which according to rumors will feature the cheeks of Derek Ramsy. At the recently concluded Cosmo Bachelor's Bash, Enrique Gil, the most promising star of this generation already showed his mountainous white treasure by removing portions of his undy. Needless to say, the world is becoming permissive with this kind of act or shall we call performances. Is this a part of new explicit culture? What culture could it be? Are we venerating talent or invading somebody else's private parts?

Just lately, the photos of Scarlett Johansson, a star of beauty and class, leaked in the internet and I guess we were lucky to see that. She is now coordinating with the FBI to spearhead the hunt for the hacker who they thought leaked the photos. The first question is why is she keeping images of herself with her rear skin hanging out without the towel? Why is she keeping photos of herself undressed?

These and other things while the entire populace is waiting for Ashton Kutcher's nude episode in One and A Half Men. How much is a celebrity's behind worth? And how long will this mass voyeurism continue if not stopped by a firm etiquette? Questions that lead us to how much respect are we still giving to each of us; to our body. And while we are feasting over their two moons, how much time are we spending to neglect their talents?

of nights without sleep and falter

Last Monday, I had the time. Well, sakaling sipagin man ako. I have no time na talaga to write for other people. I love writing when it is for my own research that I have to pour out the words from my lumang baul like supercalifragilistic ababababa..... brouhaha... Let's face it! Tamad akong sumulat. I love writing [2nd na to ha] when I write for other people and I have no intention of leaking it out. Kaya magingat tayo sa WikiLeaks. Isipin mo kapag sumulat ako kay Santi or kay Trisha or kay Kenneth and its not meant to be shared to the whole wide world pwede siyang kumalat dahil sa WikiLeaks na yan! Hay Julian Assange, what have you done! ?

I have no security. At anytime, I can feel like i will be cornered or caught offguard. I don't know pero hindi ako excited. Well, let's talk about passion some other time. I believe that when your not completely happy for something, you can't go for it.

Somehow masaya naman yung environment. Magaan. Very light and warm ang mga tao sa working place na pinagugulo lang talaga ng mga naglalaro kasi at the same time nga ay computer shop din siya. Happy ako na nakilala ko sila. Gusto ko yung mga personalities. In just a while, I get to know other people with different interests. Different talaga from mine. Basta alam ko I respect them in so far as they are not harm. Friend ko si Joel Quenral and I believe he is a good person. Provided they are no harm, for me they are great. Hope that friendship can be maintained.

2am na ako nakauwi sa bahay. Imagine? Tell me, these are all a dream. That these too shall vanish away. Pero hindi! It's always been a reality and will always be. Being a would-be-sage, I can't help but wait for that tday na pwede kong ipamulat that there are far greater things more important than just living. And it can't be found in a call center domain.
