up to new heights and music just fun

As for today... thankful ako na nabuksan ko ang account ko. Akala ko na hack na ang blog ko. For the entire week nagka trouble ako opening my account at sa twitter ko makikit anag pagkainis sa mga statements ko. Plano ko pa naman na magsulat about three important things that took place last week.

Una noong Wednesday. Kasi natapos na ang Season 2 ng Glee. It was a nice episode. Siguro gustong gusto ng mga Pilipino kasi kumanta si Charice ng isnag original song which I believe is ow available in iTunes or other downloading sites. Si Kevin McHale ang pinakapaborito kong singer sa kuwento ng Glee. Hindi ko napansin na maganda ang ending para sa kanya. Almost everybody had their conflicts resolved. Siya lang ang hindi. Anyway, maganda pa rin ang boses niya kahit ganun.

Second na nakakatuwa is yung season ender din ng American Idol Season 10 kung saan ang nanalo ay si Scotty McCreery. Heto ang article published ko for that Thursday;

In the course of the entire American Idol Season 10, I was able to watch it uninterruptedly. And thanks to heaven! Just an hour ago, Scotty McCreery was crowned as the new American Idol. He was able to beat Lauren Alaina who lost because of voting process. Scotty is a crowed darling and there's no doubt about that. Although we cannot trust America's choice as thesole criterion of judgement. Sometimes their votes, their favorites, their idols... are contrary to mine. I always wanted to have a girl idol/ I guess from 2008, that has been my wish. Some friends are already doubtful if tehre could ever be an AI contestant which would rise to fame the same as Ke$ha or should I say Katy Perry. But there was none. VJ Frank feared earlier this year that if ever there is a woman who can make it to the finals, it would be another Carrie Underwood copycat and yes Frank's prediction happened. If there could ever be another girl rocker. If there could ever be another Ke$ha from the Idol stage. If there could only be another woman to say... "hey, we also have what it takes." Now you know that I am a feminist. Now you already have an idea who's my bet.

Yes. I was wishing that Haley could make it to the coronation. I was wrong. She was eliminated last week. She is different from Underwood. Much different from Fantasia. Different also from Jordin Sparks. And she will make history for being the first Woman Idol of this decade. Remember that 2008, David Cook was hailed idol. Followed by kris Allen in 2009. Last year it was Dewyze, who didn't performed a number on stage although he was there as an audience. And why two tributes for Beyonce?

Last night was a tremendous night in Nokia Theater. Lauren and Scotty fought cut throat. They had three rounds. First, they have to sing their favorite song which they sang earlier this season. Second, their own idols will pick a song for them. Third, of course, their coronation song. And the judges premonitioned that the night went to Lauren Alaina. of course, America can change the fate of those two teenagers. they chose the guy who embodies their aspirations. Who can voice their history in a much country-musical way.

I really enjoyed Bono and The Edge's performance of Risee Above 1. Ok let's admit, I enjoyed looking at Reeve Carney's immaculate face and wish I could steal it. the song is now available on iTunes the same as Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" as of my latest check from their official websites. Let's talk about Gaga getting gaga. She just performed one of the greatest stage performance I could never forget. It must have been done with romantic aesthetics and hands on supervision from Gaga herself to be that great. I mean, there was an element of "Black Swan" in it, she interpreted the song not only vocally [which is singing it] but she also made a holistic interpretation by way of theatricals and choreo. Well, she's Lady Gaga. What can we expect? Actually... because of that, who will remember that TLC was guest on the show? Oh did they performed? I forgot, it was so 90's.

I was singing with the season ten boys when they unveiled Tom Jones, though we already know he would come out. He still is a legend in as much as Tony Bennet, who sang with Reinhart, is. And yes... Jennifer Lopez dance performance with his real life lover/partner Mark Anthony. A latin number which I enjoyed as if it was my television dancing. And yes, Steven Tyler singing Dream On which represents the journey of both McCreery and Alaina. Jaocb Lusk, Casey Abrams, James Durbin and Pia Toscanno are expected to shine this year also. I am convinced that Jimmy Iovine, in his genius mind will take advantage of their potentials and will never let them go. As a matter of fact, they should be the one, I mean anyone form them, fighting for the title.

It all boiled down to the results. They dimmed the lights and there they go. Seacrest read the results from the precious envelope and its said... Scotty won the game which lasted for four months on air. Next year, will there be a girl who will finally be called American Idol and not like Bowersox and Alaina who were only runner ups? Let's just wait.

Ang title ng article is Just Another Male Idol [Analysis].

Check out their songs sa mga downloading sites.

Happy Birthday also to E.R. Raymond Galicia and Happy First Wedding Anniversary to Albert Maloles and Paula Denise Poblete-Maloles.

Have a musical May everyone!
