Day to Mitigate

There are certain dates in the calendar which mystically own special spot in ones heart. Some of them I just don't know why.

This day is one. Hindi ko talaga alam bakit kelangan ko itong i-treat as special for me. Ito ang araw na gusto ko maikasal. Hindi June 11 gaya ng akala ng iba. Kasi daw birthday yun ni Shaira. Yun nga ang ayaw ko eh. Nakikisabay ako sa ibang celebration na dapat may ibang meaning. So I have to choose the day.



Only today, nang magopen ako ng facebook accunt ko at makit ako sa home page na birthday pala ngayon ni Sheena, that i realized why. Although a lot of important things already happened in the past.

I like this day. For me it is one of the most memorable dates of 2010. A day of reconciliation and ammendments on our parts. Both parties nagkasundo na. I don't have to interfeere with them anymore. I will just stay away from the one I truly love. The one I loved for the longest time now. kailangan ko tanggapin ang lahat ng sinabi niya. Perhaps we are not meant to be. Pero ang importante sa akin sa kanya umikot yung araw na ito.

Though distant from one another, our cell phones paved teh way fro us to communicate and express our apoligies and sincerities. We are friends. Just as everyone wants to call it after the quits.

You see, downloading almost 10 songs from the internet nang napakabilis, isn't that wonderful. My meeting with Cyrus, an old classmate, that was melodious. A new remote control for my DVD which allowed me to enetertain myself for the rest of the afternoon when you have to endure so much heat coming from the sun. Mas mainit pala pag June. And unlike what happened in 2006 na umulan noong 2-3pm, hindi ganun ang nangyari. Umulan nga pero nung 5:30 na at umabot hanggang 6pm.

Few minutes noon before 7pm, nasa Pag Asa Street ako sa Liliw, waiting for her to unload from the jeepney. Hindi ako nawalan ng pagasa. She came kasama si Mabelle. Nakaktawa kasi sumakay siya ng tricycle at ako humabol pa talaga para lang makita siya bago pumasok sa bahay nila. And just nung pabalik na ang tricycle at nakababa na siya, pinara ko at ako ang sumakay dun sa sinakyan niya. Ang corny pero sweet pa rin. Ganun talaga. Now it is our day again. sobrang masaya ako na finally hindi na siya galit after this five day uneasiness namin.

Hindi nauulit yung sequence of weather. Pero sa bawat taon, nauulit natin ang mga celebrations na hndi dapat kinakalimutan. Happy Birthday Sheena !!!!
